Happy August everyone…..summer is in full swing! If you are on the island this weekend for the Fig Festival be sure to stop in and see us! We have our version of “fig shirts”, fig preserves made locally by Trudy Austin, “Fig Tree” handmade soap and candles.

This is the tree that inspired the Village Craftsmen Logo. It was just north of where the NPS Ocracoke Campground is now. We love seeing old island photos like this!
