Ocracoke Status Updates

Jason's Restaurant will be reopening tomorrow. Lunch 11-2 Take Out Only and Dinner 5-8 Dine In or Take Out. Were certainly glad Hurricane Erin stayed off shore but it certainly did a number on our beachs and hwy 12. Hopefully there's no damage and they can get them reopened asap. Fingers crossed everything will be normal for next week and Labor Day Weekend! Thanks for everyone's comments and concerns during this stressful time for the Island.

Jason's Restaurant will we open tomorrow for our local clientele. Lunch 11-2 and Dinner 5-8. Closed on Wednesday and Thursday as Hurricane Erin will be passing off the coast. Hopefully normal hours resune on Friday and Saturday.

We’re still offering mid morning and evening eco kayak tours!

Take a group tour through the scenic Pamlico Sound with a trained kayak guide. Along the two hour tour you can expect to see a variety of animals including oyster catchers, great blue herons, dolphins, stingrays, and other local fish species!! This is a great way to see the island from a new perspective and learn something new about our island’s history 🌅🐟
