Ocracoke Status Updates

Good morning from the airport ramp off of Ocracoke’s beach! Conditions this morning are windy and rainy with a gorgeous sunrise peaking through. There’s a little bit of disorganized swell. Wind’s out of the southwest at around 20, water temp is 45 F, and the air is about 55 F. Next high tide is 2:30pm this afternoon and the next low tide is 8:26pm this evening

Pipes have thawed and didn't bust so business as normal! Reuben Tuesday, Flounder, Crab and Corn Chowder, Baby Limas and Sour Cream and Dill Mash Potatoes!😋🥰

Pipes are still frozen so we will be closed for dinner too. I'm over these freezing temperatures. We do have a warm up starting tomorrow!

Unfortunately bathroom pipes are frozen now and I'm forced to close.

Good morning Ocracoke! Here is your Feb 9 surf report. It’s still cold but warming up a little and the sun is shining! Surf is small in the knee high range with a few long board-able waves. The wind is blowing out of the north at about 15.

The water temp is about 45 F, so if you’re brave enough to go out grab your thickest wetsuit, booties, gloves, and whatever else you’ve got! The air temp is around 32 F and hopefully rising a few more degrees as the day goes on. Next high tide is 12:47 pm and the next low tide is 6:48 pm

Unfortunately the pipes to our soda machine and tea/coffee maker are frozen so water is are only option for Lunch. Can't drip those lines. Hopefully they will unthaw by dinner time! We have the Dill Infused Buffalo Chicken Sandwich for Lunch Special. Crab and Corn Chowder, Mac & Cheese. Baby Limas and Flounder!

Snocracoke 2026! The winds have howled for a couple of days and are not letting up this morning. We sure didn't set snow records but it always fun to have a snow day.
