If you’re boating to the island, Ocracoke Island’s Silver Lake harbor accommodates transient boaters and sailors at marinas, National Park Service docks and free moorings in the harbor. If you trailered your boat to be able to enjoy this thing to do on Ocracoke, you’ll find a National Park Service boat ramp. If you want to rent a boat on Ocracoke Island, there’s an option for that as well.
