American-Made Handcrafts on Ocracoke Island, NC
Since 1970, Village Craftsmen has offered a wide range of American-made handcrafts to visitors of the Outer Banks, Ocracoke Island locals and beyond. The gallery started as a small enterprise with $35 worth of inventory, selling homemade rings, wooden toys and other craft items, but as their shop has grown, so has their collection of goods! Village Craftsmen now carries a large selection of pottery, glass, jewelry, kitchen items, musical instruments, ships-in-bottles, wrought iron, bells, boxes, soaps, kaleidoscopes, prints, pewter items and more! If you're shopping on Ocracoke Island, with or without a plan in mind, you're sure to find something to take home! Owned and operated by the Howard family, descendants of William Howard, who had deep roots on the island and was possibly Blackbeard's quartermaster, Villages Craftsmen doubles as your guide to Ocracoke's rich history.
While you stroll down Howard Street, don't forget to stop by and see us! You're sure to find the perfect souvenir for your Outer Banks vacation in this hidden Island treasure!
