Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001. This day marks a somber chapter in history, one that united us in our grief and strength.

As we reflect on this day, let us reaffirm our dedication to peace, empathy, and unity. May we carry forward the lessons learned and the bonds forged in the wake of tragedy.

To the families who lost loved ones, to the survivors, and to all those affected: you are in our hearts and thoughts today and always.

"This Sunday, join us for the ultimate farewell to summer and a grand welcome to fall at our BBQ Showdown!

We are excited to announce that our next event will be on September 15th in Downtown Manteo! We will be providing you with a plethora of delicious BBQ items and sides, as well as three wonderfully paired cocktails. We invite any and all local BBQ company to bring their most beloved BBQ item to showcase their product and get a chance to win the “Best BBQ Crown” which will be voted on at the end of the event.

We will be doing a merchandise raffle with Kiiind & OBX Day Drinking Society items to raise funds for our beloved, local Uber driver Mrs. Lisa Gum’s medical bills.

We will have live music by Night Routine, games in the yard, and as always, a mixology class to end the event!"
