Ocracoke is home to many incredible sights such as the Ocracoke Lighthouse. Yet the most stunning and possibly most overlooked is the sky, especially in winter. We will be closed until April 2023. Our online shop will reopen sometime in March 2023. Moonraker is going to reorganize and reorient this winter. The past couple years have been a bit chaotic. From the destruction of Dorian to the isolation of the pandemic, to supply chain issues, graduate school, we are a bit exhausted. But do not worry! We have exciting news! This will be our 5th year on Ocracoke and some surprises are coming!

On January 27 & 28, at 7 PM Ocracoke Alive will be hosting the Mended Wing Theatre Company with a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Ocracoke Community Center. We will also be sponsoring a free Mended Wing Workshop for community members: Shakespearean Speeches, Acting, and Writing from 1-2 PM on Saturday, January 28 at the Ocracoke Community Center. No registration necessary. Don't miss this event!

Today at Jason's Restaurant is CALZONE DAY (11-1:30 only) ... Also featuring local flounder, collards and pesto parm mashed potatoes. Then tomorrow it's roast pork chilaquiles!
